Model UN has created a pathway to learning and understanding topics from a large spectrum for students. [email protected] aims to continue with that legacy, knowing with absolute certainty that it can be achieved. What is of more importance, is the generating of ideas to serve as solutions that can help resolve today’s world problems. To enhance the knowledge of students on their contribution to society is one more aim [email protected] is certain to achieve. [email protected] is guaranteed to be the start of something new. At this prestigious conference, we will not only take initiative to solve problems but also have a creative outlook on the problems at hand. With such an opportunity, we are building a platform for the delegates to show their potential and to share their perspectives on topics with peers. Furthermore, encouragement for delegates to interact, socialise, and share their interests, is of top priority in order to expand and to tighten relations and cooperation with each other.

Model United Nations is a platform for the youth to use their voice in order to solve global crises. To me, nothing is more empowering than being given the chance to stand on a podium, represent a country and dissolve these crises.
For the past year, I have constantly immersed myself in global politics, diplomacy and international relations, which have opened my eyes to the real world that we live in. MUN was my pathway not only for personal growth but also a way to truly rediscover my true potential. It has given me the opportunity to meet a multitude of people, debate alongside talented individuals and think like a true leader.
MUN isn’t just a conference to me; it is the place where I feel that my ideas are valid, and a place where I believe I can further expand my horizons as a student, as a diplomat and as a delegate. I hope that by the end of the conference, delegates, chairs, admins and everyone involved would gain the confidence to speak, apply the skills gained into real life and immerse themselves further into the diplomatic world.

Model United Nations is, in a way, a sacred place for me. It is a place where I grew into myself. It is the first place where I felt empowered and assertive and so completely sure of myself and my ideas. MUN is where I have made unforgettable memories and met unforgettable people. To me, MUN is also a platform, where everyone stands equally in the name of equality. MUN gives us, the youth, a chance to fulfill our potential and be the best we can. It gives us the creative space to come up with solutions for current world crises, and present these solutions in a diplomatic and dignified manner. It allows us to build lifelong connections and see different perspectives. Moreover, MUN allows us to learn about each other, and most importantly, about the world we live in.
It was at my very first conference that I felt seen and heard, that my ideas were valid, and I sincerely hope every single person attending [email protected] feels the same way I did back then!

I was 11 years old, in Y7, when I join MUN and I didn't know much about it. I had so much support from seniors and older people that helped me improve my resolution and policy statements. I started by being voted as the funniest delegate due to my inexperience at start.
Ms. Sara still saw the potential in me and she always picked me for any Middle school MUNs. Although I didn't feel like I deserved it but she kept on complimenting my work and she kept on helping me after school, at [email protected] club and honestly without her I don't know if I would be in this place or even doing MUN. I took first [email protected] very professionally which then boosted my confidence and knowledge about MUN. The fact that most of my friends also joined improved my thoughts about MUN since last THIMUN. I then chaired at the first Online [email protected] and it was really fun, even though most delegates were older than me. My overall thought is that MUN definitely changed in the past years and without all the seniors and Ms Sara that helped me I wouldn’t be here. So a special thanks to all of them!

I am absolutely honoured to be a part of this incredible conference once again. It is a very eye opening experience to get to listen to everyone’s different perspectives and debates. Along with that, it's so remarkable to see how the delegates approach these worldwide issues and that's definitely what's special about MUN. I am looking forward to being able to communicate with you all and can't wait for this upcoming conference.

I am so glad to be a part of the executive team again! To compare myself from the first time I joined the conference, I have definitely grown as a person. Though I wouldn’t say that I’m beaming with confidence, but certainty I have improved it. For me MUN was something new and challenging. It was something I wanted to do to test myself, and to find out who I was. By joining the team again, I hope I will be able to improve myself even more, and hone in my skills as a proficient marketeer.
My experience with MUN has helped me shape who I am today, therefore by being a part of the executive team again makes me extremely excited. I will do my best to effectively promote this event for everyone to know, and attract newcomers to MUN.
Model United Nations has allowed me to explore my soft skills, which is vital for every individual to grow. MUN is an opportunity for one to make their opinions heard and come together to solve the global crisis.
Being part of the Model United Nations at NIA allowed me to learn and be aware about more issues around the world, apart from the ones that are always running on the news. It is my third year doing MUN - and I can honestly say this has been one of the best decisions I have ever made.
MUN helps shape our minds on how we see the world and how one can change the world for the betterment of the people and the environment.
It's an absolute honor to be a part of the amazing team, the MUN at the NIA executive team. Being in the marketing department helps me portray my communication and marketing skills. It's my job to invite and find new ways to get students to join us.
